Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort appoints Jennifer Obregon as Director of Human Resources

Jennifer Obregon has been appointed as Director of Human Resources for the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort

Jennifer commenced work earlier this week and reports to Chris Ely, the Acting General Manager of the resort.

Prior to joining Outrigger, Jennifer was with Viceroy Resorts in Turkey and Maldives. She spent three years as Director of Human Resources with Four Seasons, a year with Shangri-La and 18 months with the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa – all in Maldives.

Jennifer has also been a hotel industry training manager and HR consultant in Philippines, Vietnam, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in Philippines, Jennifer added a wide range of certifications in HR subjects such as interviewing, appraisals, budget training, performance review management, group training and service leadership. Jennifer is a qualified scuba rescue diver and an aspiring novelist with a work in progress.

“Jennifer’s extensive experience in the operating environment of the Maldives and her HR leadership skills will be vital to Outrigger where the role of or hosts – our staff – is of the utmost importance,” said Darren Edmonstone, Outrigger Managing Director, Asia Pacific.
