Kurumba Maldives has prepared a comprehensive Festive Season program for its guests to celebrate and to welcome 2013 highlighting enriching and interesting experiences.
The program has many unique activities such as cooking master classes, heart of house tours and cocktail mixology classes. For children, treasure hunts, kids karaoke and many other activities will be available. We have also heard that Santa will be making his entrance in a rather aerial way. In terms of the cooking classes, organised is a famous Maldivian Lady completing a traditional Maldivian master class that will be hosted and enjoyed over lunch.
One of the resorts Chef d Cuisines who has been with Kurumba for over 20 years, Chef Dinesh from Southern India will be conducting Indian cooking master class. Hosted by the ever popular Indian Restaurant Manager Fernando, this lunch we will ensure a rather festive and social event.
Executive Chef Ralf will be preparing a rustic Italian master class where guest will assist in making fresh pasta and other traditional dishes in La Cucina. Accompanied with a Tuscan bianco or two, this will be a nice way to learn about Italian food and to meet likeminded friends. On Christmas Eve, a sumptuous seafood buffet and live cooking station dinner in Ocean Grill will be served and accompanied with live entertainment.
On new year’s eve, the event will be a Scarlet Evening Banquet to celebrate Kurumba’s 40th Ruby anniversary. The evening will start with manager’s cocktails, followed by an array of entertainment including fire dancers, live bands, local Maldivian Bodu Beru and DJ Paidai to dance the night away. In terms of dress, think glamorous with lots of white and a touch of Ruby.
Orthodox Christmas will be served in Ocean Grill with a focus on fresh seafood’s and entertainment in the Beach Bar by Maldives most popular band, Defnote. Kurumba Maldives is celebrating the success of 2012 and will bring in 2013 in style.
