Luxury hotel group GHM is expanding into the Maldives with The Chedi Dhapparu, a residential resort and hotel property located on the largest habitable island in the Maldives. The 55-hectare island is a 20-minute speedboat ride away from Hanimadhoo International Airport.
The Chedi Dhapparu will have 40 hotel suites–including 20 90 sqm Chedi Club Suites with private pools–and 90 branded residential villas, with villas ranging from one to four bedrooms. This is the first project in the Maldives with a license to sell real estate titles to villa buyers. Sales are set to begin in Q1 2014, with the opening planned for 2016.
The property will also include a spa, health club, dive center, library, cigar bar, restaurants and a lounge.
